This wk has kicked off a bit of a difficult one so far! Monday, lily lives being back with all her friends and teachers from pre-school as they have put on a Fun Club this wk during the holidays! She came back so excited and full of beans! Tues she was wide awake at 3 am and refused to go back to sleep! Eventually at 6am we got some breakfast to which she felt sick but soon recovered and was able to head to 2nd day of fun club! Around 4pm, she started with a high temperature and very tired! So we gave her some paracetamol and tried to get her to sleep! No luck!! She managed some food and then got into bed! From about 12:30 onwards, Micki was up with her all through the night trying to bring down a very high fever which was accompanied by chills and sickness! We were able to get into the Dr’s first thing Wed morning and found out she has Malaria!!!!!!!! She is currently on medication for the nxt 48hrs and seems to be improving!
